SEP #3

Now we have come to this. last time, we see the man who laughs. the reverse of the dark knight. Now we will see the dark knight friend. The Flash. But not "the flash". It's the reverse-flash or professor zoom. Yes, for some of you who have seen the show, The Flash, you will see him as a yellow suited man and a power like Flash. He is powerful, and smart, and crazy. He is (i'm still not sure) a sociopath. Because the events that happened long time ago in a distant future, made him a man who is now we called reverse-flash. There are some point to me that could made him now, first is when found out about the cosmic treadmill. He make Eobard Thawne, to be a perfect man. And then, at the flashpoint, we see him enjoys giving a bait to the Flash. Because, it's almost like the joker, he needs Flash. His trademarks is of course, his yellow reversed flash suit. With his incredible power, and him already paradoxically exist between time, anything he does to the past will not really change a lot in the future. Because the world will fit with the nothingness and carry on. Just like a ripple.

The  main reason he does this is because the Flash. They in a sense to me is completing each other. Both of them are speedsters. Both of them have their own source of power (one from speedforce, one from negative-speed force). And both of them hate each other. The Flash took something away from him, he took it back from Flash, it's like that. Always like that. Until one of them decided to finish it.

After all movie (the animated ones) that have Eobard as the main villain. I concluded that he is a sick man. Because his feelings when he kills a man or erasing someone from the timeline, is nothing. Like a life is nothing. What he really cares is he gets the Flash and that's it. His only purpose to become the Reverse flash is his hatred to the Flash. It's really confusing about this one. He is both psychothic and sociopathic. I can't decide which one.

But the conclusion that i have is, he is the reverse of the Flash. He is the everything opposite from the Flash.

Liputan

Untuk yang belum mengetahui, pada hari selasa dan rabu kemarin. Jenjang smp semipalar melakukan kegiatan tahunan kami, yaitu pameran. Pada pameran kali kali ini, ada 3 kegiatan utama yang dilaksanakan. Yaitu ada presentasi untuk kelas 7-8 dan ada kegiatan nyapa atau nyarita pengalaman selama kelas 9 khusus untuk kelas 9. Dan tentu saja jangan lupakan kegiatan utamanya, yaitu pameran. Untuk yang mungkin penasaran bagaimana kita melakukan senua ini, akan saya beritahu sedikit informasi mengenai kegiatan itu sekarang.

Presentasi: Di kegiatan presentasi ini ada 2 kegiatan utama. Yaitu dari kelas 7 dan kelas 8. Kelas 7 melakukan sensing kota bandung atau mencari masalah yang ada di kota bandung terkait pengindraan yang ada. Seperti penglihatan, pendengaran dan lain-lain. Mereka melakukannya dengan cara outing ke fasilitas fasilitas yang ada di Bandung. Sedangkan untuk kelas 8, mereka membuat peraturan daerah. Caranya mereka membuat peraturan daerah adalah dengan mencari sumber permasalahan sebanyak mungkin dan menciptakan peraturan supaya masalah-masalah yang ada tidak terjadi lagi.

Nyapa: Kegiatan nyapa yang khusus untuk kelas 9 ini cukup spesial. Karena dari semua jenjang smp yang ada, hanya kelas 9 yang ada kegiatan khusus ini. Pada intinya, kegiatan ini menceritakan tentang semua yang telah kita jalani selama kelas 9 dengan kakak. Untuk memudahkan kita mengingat semua yang ada, kita diberi binder besar bantex berisi catatan kegiatan kami. Dari bantex ini nanti ketahuan siapa yang catatannya tidak lengkap dan mana yang catatannya lengkap.

Pameran: nah, disini tentu saja adalah kegiatan utamanya. Pameran kali ini dan mungkin seterusnya digelar di lokasi kelas 9. Disini kita mengubah layout kelas khusus untuk pameran kali ini. Banyak karya dari teman teman kelas 7, 8, dan 9 dijejerkan disini. Karya mereka semuanya berhubungan dengan tema besar, seperti kelas 7 Bandung, kelas 8 jawa, dan kelas 9 nusantara. Dari kelas 7 ada 1 karya yang tidak ada hubungannya, yaitu karya bahasa inggris. Semua yang ada disini sudah karya yang jadi. Kecuali kelas 9, dimana karya mereka ada 1 yang belum selesai, telusur etnik namanya.

Ya, sampai disini dulu, sampai ketemu kembali di lain waktu dan lain tempat. Selamat tinggal!!!!

SEP #2

The man who laughs

Well, to be honest, I don't really know Mr.J a lot. All i know about him is that he is a mad man. But, after research and a lot of time spent to read his comic and all. I pretty understand almost everything about him.

When we see him, we only see pure mental ill. But the way he sees us, the society. He sees a game. His personal goal is to control people or at least drove them mad. There is a reason why'd he pick joker as his name and he dressed like a clown. Well one, the joker is like the most useless card in deck, it's always give a pack of surprise and thus, making it unpredictable. And two, he dresses like a clown because he's there not to make people laugh, but to make himself laugh. That is from his appearence.

Now from his mind. The joker sees people as a game. And, the only way for him to win is by controlling other people. Their people. The gameplay, is by giving them the right circumstances where their will is finally broken. If someone do that, he wins. That simple. But, it's not always through the method of sadism, sometimes he could give a man that a fatalist a hope in life. Or an optimist everything that will make him negative. He can see your self, and that way, he can break you. He has the ability to turn normal people to a 360 degree angle from their normal side. And his real happines is from the joy of knowing how easy it is to predict people. How predictable people are.

Most people sees Joker as the opposite from the bat, well if we look more closer, the bat is actually more closer to joker. It's because they both manipulate people in almost the same way. Through fear. And both of them are "crazy" from the normal people. It's because they are crazy that's it.

So, the conclusion are, Joker is a really really crazy person. He is unpredictable, vandalist, and a really scary dude to meet.  He is not for your entertainment but you are his entertainment.

For you that don't know, SEP is stand for special english project. it's a special english project about the things that we want to discuss. This time, it's about the psychology of superheroes and their villains.

Well, maybe most of you curious about this topic. Well, i'm curious too. The reason why i am really really curious about this is why do they do it. Just that, why do they do it. But they all can say a lot of things about why do they do it. What i want to do is dig their inner mind. The really reason of why do they do it. It always makes me wonder you know. That why do they do it.

This is the mind map that i created about what will i search and publish.

This project itself presented by my headmaster/ english teacher. This project show my inner self. the things that i love. I love comic book superheroes and mind about people. So why not both? And this project is like all the things that i love. and i think this project will be turned out to be a great one.

What i am planning to do in this project is to search all their story and origins. I also will seek a psychologist to discuss about them. And if i can, i want to e-mail the writers about this. Because all writers have different interpretation about the characters that they write.

On this post. I would like to give you a comment about a book. Of course it's not the book. But rather, an article of the book. The article is from a magazine. Its reader

The article is from reader's digest. The article is about the secret truth behind the gun industries. The fact that the gun industries has hid from us. To me, this kind of information is pretty useful. But, because Indonesia is a country with a strict gun control, it's not really useful here. But, the information itself is entertaining for me. Because i'm an enthusiastic fact seeker. Anything that has facts written on the title is fun for me. The serets is pretty scary. Because it even involve innocent people and children too. And anything that involves children is to me, a bad thing. They market targets are underge children and women. This open my eyes a little bit about the gun controls and the gun industry.

Sekarang, saatnya pos bahasa inggris!

So, a guy commented about the dark knight rises movies. And he said that the movie is too much drama and Bane's origin is not quite explained. So, this is approximately, my reply to him.

It’s one of the best Batman movie man. To me, there are not much drama. For a person who love the action of Batman, maybe this is not the movie for you. But, for someone who wants to know how to be The Batman, this movie shows you all the pain, struggle, determination, courage, and will to protect the city he loved. The city that he always give.

Bane’s role in this movie is really strong. He even had a neck and neck presence with the Batman himself. To me, Bane’s role is to break the bat. Both literally and metaphorically. Because he break Batman’s bat. And then he tries to break Batman’s will by putting him in the pit. The hell in earth.

Well, for me, myself as a Batman fan. This movie deliver the aspects of becoming the Batman. That is not to feel no fear, but to embrace fear itself. And not only strong body is needed to become the Batman. But a strong will and spirit is needed. Because if we have a strong spirit. Even the mightiest bullet cannot pierce it. And Bane’s role in this movie are really-really great. Not only he break the bat. He even threw him to a place with no hope. Made him suffer and angry. Because he cannot save the city he loved.

Of course, my only regrets in this movie is. There is no presence of batgirl. Even the hint is nowhere to be seen. Robin exist, but Batgirl? No she;s not. I mean come on! Batgirl is an important role to! Yeah, well that is the only thing that makes me regret of Nolan;s direction.

But, the one thing though that makes me eager to watch this movie again and again is, Batman’s and catwoman’s presence. Yeah, her presence give some spice to batman. Not only darkness and fear, but some love, light and hope too. So yeah, the catwoman’s presence is to make Batman have someone to love to. Not only Alfred. And Rachel. And Talia. And so on 

So how about it? Is it good enough to explain it to him? Or do i a bit off course from the subject? And sorry for the bad grammar!

And the picture is from a guy in deviantart. The poster pretty much makes remember the new game of Batman. Called Batman: Arkham knight. And the thing that makes me remember is "a fire will rise" And "The legend ends". Both are the last entry of the entire franchise. Game and movie. So this poster really really tells me that the legends of batman ends here. Both  nolanverse and arkhamverse.

MOS

1 Minggu yang lalu, lebih tepatnya 1 minggu 4 hari sebelum tulisan ini dikirim. Sekolah saya mengadakan acara yang ditunggu-tunggu setiap tahun. MOS. Bagi beberapa orang, yang langsung terngiang di kepala mereka saat mendengar kata MOS adalah membawa barang-barang aneh, menginap di sekolah, senior yang meneriaki juniornya, dan yang paling parah adalah kekerasan ala militer yang mereka bawa ke hati juniornya. Memberi kekerasan ala militer dan meneriaki juniornya adalah hal yang tidak diperlukan sebenarnya. Bahkan, bisa membuat rasa takut dan kebencian dari junior ke seniornya. Atau yang paling buruk dari semuanya adalah mereka jadi membenci sekolah itu sendiri. Bagi yang memiliki hati dan mental yang kuat, mungkin mereka dapat bertahan selama 1 tahun ajaran. Tapi bagi yang tidak, mereka bisa jadi “meledak”. Karena itu, bagiku MOS yang seperti itu dibuat sebagai ajang untuk senior melampiaskan semua amarah, kebencian, dan pembalasan mereka selama 2 tahun ada di sekolah itu. Sebenarnya ada cara yang lebih bagus dari itu. Misalnya apabila para seniornya membuat pekan orientasi itu sebagai ajang untuk membantu junior melakukan adaptasi atau membuat mereka produktif. Bukannya membuat mereka mengeluarkan rasa takut dan benci terhadap senior. Tapi kita tidak disini bukan untuk membicarakan tentang MOS-MOS yang ada di sekolah lain. Kita disini membicarakan MOS yang ada di sekolah saya.

Seperti yang sudah saya beritahukan tadi, MOS yang harusnya ada untuk sekolah-sekolah adalah membuat para junior bisa beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekolah yang baru atau membuat mereka lebih produktif. Nah, itulah yang dilakukan di sekolah saya. Asal tahu saja, sekolah tempat saya menimba ilmu sekarang adalah sekolah dengan cara pembelajaran yang cukup unik. Sekolah saya, menggunakan metode project based learning. Berarti kami belajar macam-macam melalui sebuah proyek atau tema tertentu. Dari namanya saja sudah sangat unik, bagaimana cara junior ini, yang masih baru sekali mengenal metode belajar project based learning bisa mengikutinya? Jawabannya adalah MOS. MOS yang diberikan pada tahun ini adalah mengidentifikasi masalah-masalah yang ada di sekolah kami. Tema masalahnya ada 3, yaitu energi, sampah, dan air. Dari temanya ini, kita bisa lebih mudah mengidentifikasi masalah yang ada. Sebagai senior, saya ikut andil dalam kegiatan ini. Fungsi saya dan teman-teman senior saya, adalah menjadi guru atau “kakak” pembimbing junior kami dalam kegiatan ini. Memang terbukti cukup sulit, karena sebagai seorang “kakak” saya harus memotivasi junior saya dalam mengeluarkan ide mereka. Pada awalnya adik kelas saya masih terlihat malu-malu dan kelihatannya tidak terlalu mengerti dengan metode belajar yang baru ini. Tapi dengan bimbingan yang baik dan motivasi yang bagus, mereka terlihat menjadi lebih andil dalam kelompok mereka. Yang lebih bagus lagi adalah di akhir pekan MOS ini, mereka harus mempresentasikan solusi mereka atas masalah yang sudah di identifikasi. Dan dari hasilnya, mereka terlihat lebih percaya diri dan semakin dekat dengan senior. Membuat ikatan persaudaraan yang kuat berdasarkan kasih sayang, bukan berdasarkan rasa takut.

Nah, menurut saya itulah MOS yang paling bagus untuk junior yang baru masuk ke lingkungan baru. Alih-alih memberikan rasa takut tentang lingkungan yang baru mereka masuki. Kita berikan mereka sebuah kegiatan yang membuat mereka terbiasa dengan lingkungan baru itu. Dan kegiatan ini tidak harus selalu tentang mencari masalah dan solusinya, tapi bisa juga meneliti sesuatu atau membuat sebuah forum diskusi yang asik dan sesuai minat mereka. Yang jelas, mari kita buat mereka lebih produktif di masa muda mereka!
